What is Gigmax.com?
Gigmax.comSM allows you to store files, such as text documents, images, music, and videos, in your own online space, accessible anywhere. You may choose to make individual files public so others may see it or private so only you can see it. Other features are available for use with an account, like My Gigmarks (a virtual bookmark list) and My Gigpad (a place to quickly write down notes).
Why would I want my own gigmax?
Most people use a Gigmax account for the sole reason that stored files are easily accessible, from anywhere.
How much does it cost to create my own gigmax?

How much storage space do I get?
One Gigmax account come with 1GB (1024 MB) of storage.
What types of files can I store in my gigmax?
You can store any type of file you want publicly, as long as you are the rightful owner of the file (i.e. no copyrighted music). You can store any type of file you want privately.
What is the difference between making a file public and making a file private?
If you choose to make a file public, anyone can see it and download it. If you make a file private, only you can view it. Please note that all files are private by default.

Why is it taking so long for my files to upload?
If you are uploading larger files (files that are a few MB in size), it will take longer to upload. Nothing that can be done to prevent/shorten the long uploading time. Please note that the files will upload successfully at a reasonable rate.
What is the My Gigmarks section?
The My Gigmarks section is a virtual bookmark list, allowing you to save URLs and access them anywhere. The application works best with our Desktop Application Add-On. Using our application, you can simply press Control + G when you are on a site that you would like to Gigmark, and it will automatically save it in your account.
What is the My Gigpad section?
The My Gigpad section is a simple, quick place for you to jot down notes. For example, if you think you will forget a password to something, you can write it down and save it in My Gigpad.
Why isn't my file showing up on my community page?
In order for a file to appear on your community page, it must be public. By default, all files are private.
What happens when I fill up the allotted gigabyte of space in my account?
When 1 gigabyte of space is reached, the Upload features will disappear. You will no longer be able to upload any new files. If files are deleted and space is available in the account, the Upload features will reappear. If you need more space, a new free account can be opened under a different username and password.
How do I change my contact/personal information?
To change your contact information, click the "My Account" link at the top right of the page, once you are logged in. Then click the "Edit Account Info" link.
How do I change my password?
